FFP today announced its commitment to develop ARBORETUM alongside ICAWOOD, BNP Paribas Real Estate and WO2.
ARBORETUM is a 126,000 m² campus project of low carbon, wooden offices and services, located in the greater La Défense area (Paris) and designed to accommodate between 8,000 and 10,000 people. Surrounded by a 25-hectare park and alongside the Seine River, this concept will stand out for its innovative range of offices built in timber, with the most advanced technologies in terms of carbon emissions control.
The complex will provide a multitude of spaces to work, indoors, on protected terraces or in the park, 7 organic restaurants, a conference centre and facilities such as a 2,000 m² sports centre. Delivery of the project is scheduled for December 2022.
Already invested in ICAWOOD since 2019, FFP has committed to investing an additional €25m in ARBORETUM, thus continuing its real estate investments, in line with its environmental, social and governance commitments.
Commenting on this investment, Robert Peugeot, Chairman of FFP, and Bertrand Finet, Chief Executive Officer, said: “We are proud to contribute to this innovative project, which combines environmental preservation and well-being at work. FFP is thus pursuing the implementation of its real estate strategy alongside a high-quality partner specialising in low carbon property development, at the heart of current environmental and societal concerns.”
